Departure from Almaty
Our driver will pick you up from your assigned address at 8:00 and you will be transferred to reservoir Bartogay. The length of the journey is 200 km, approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, you can walk along the lake shore and enjoy great views (1 hour)
CHARYN CANYON
After the walk we move towards the canyon. Travel time about 40 minutes Upon arrival, you will be trekking (2.7 km one way) along the bottom of the canyon. At the end of the gorge flows the river of the same name - Charyn. On the bank of the river you can cool off in hot weather and take a lot of gorgeous photos. If on the way back you do not want to walk, you can use services of an eco-taxi that will take you to the beginning of the gorge (500 tenge / person) You can also walk along the upper route and look at the greatness canyon from above. The length of the route is 1 km.
Return to Almaty
After a walk through the canyon, you can have a coffee at a local cafe or stop for lunch in the village of Baiseit (optional) Then we return to Almaty. Travel time is 2.5 hours.
